Iris Prints from the Auk Theater
Iris Prints:
Eleven 34" X 47" pure pigment Iris prints on archival paper created during an Auk Theater residency at the Institute for Electronic Arts at SUNY, Alfred NY (2009). The prints are video stills from past Auk Theater performances and films.
Performance One:
Live slide show designed by Matthew Minter. Slide show drawn and written by Minter with music and live narration performed by Irene Moon.
This performance does not require resident participation.
Performance Two:
Video and music created ahead of time with actors in the performance using individuals gathered by the gallery. The action of the theater is modified based on the participation from all the performers. Some live music may be incorporated depending on the strengths and skills of the volunteers.
Requires at least one day of rehearsal time prior to the day of performance and requires vigorous resident participation
